Shibnath Mukherjee D.Hira Since no one has appeared in the second call, hence, the matter is taken up in absence of the parties. It appears that Mr. Soumyadeep Das has appeared for the petitioner last on 13th January, 2023 and prayed for adjournment. Since, thereafter, though the matter has been pending in the list for days together and called on each day of working of the Court, no one has appeared for either of the parties. Hence, without wasting much time the case is taken up for disposal.

This is an application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed by the present petitioner to challenge the proceedings in a complaint case being 696C/13 under Section 138/141 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, now pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate at Nadia.

The petitioner has stated that no cognizable offence has been made out against him in the said complaint and he is no way involved in the present case.

However, the grounds pleaded by the petitioner appears to be not sufficient and cogent enough to seek interference in this Court into the said proceedings in exercise of power under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Hence, the revision merits no success.

On the findings as above, CRR no. 1914 of 2015 is dismissed.
