The limited grievance of the petitioner is that despite representations having been given by the petitioner to the CESC authorities in respect of alleged encroachment of the petitioner's property for the purpose of installation of the electric meter of the private respondent, no steps have been taken by the CESC Limited as yet in that regard. However, despite service, none appears for the private respondents.

In view of the innocuous nature of the order proposed to be passed, no further direction of service on the private respondent is deemed necessary.

Accordingly, WPA 15522 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the respondent nos.1 and 3 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, as annexed to the present writ petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from date, upon giving adequate hearing to the concerned parties, if found necessary by the CESC authorities.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
