Perused the report of the Divisional Engineer and Station Manager of Sagardighi Customer Care Centre. It appears that the fields are inundated and supply cannot be given soon. The supply was delayed also because the cultivation of the Rabi crops had not started when the petitioner applied.

Upon perusing the report, this Court directs that the connection shall be effected within October 9, 2024 upon compliance of all other formalities, if necessary. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
