On prayer of the petitioner, liberty is granted to withdraw the application and take appropriate steps before the learned Special Court dealing with the matter.

However, since the medical reports submitted by the authorities suggest that the petitioner is suffering from several ailments, the Superintendent, Presidency Correctional Home is directed to render all medical assistance to the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner may not be able to get the appropriate medical assistance at the correctional home, liberty is granted to the Senior Medical Officer, Presidency Correctional Home to refer the petitioner to any hospital, whether Government or Private for necessary treatment.

CRM(SB) 80 of 2024 is dismissed as withdrawn. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
