Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mrs. Debjani Sahu, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears before this court on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course.

Petitioner has challenged the continuance of the proceedings of Bidhannagar Women P. S. Case No. 9 of 2020 dated 24.07.2020 under Sections 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code wherein after conclusion of investigation chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Record of the revisional application reflects that the evidence of the case has commenced. Accordingly, I am not inclined to interfere with the merits of the prayer relating to quashing is concerned. However, having regard to the fact that warrant of arrest so issued was on 11.05.2023 against one of the accused persons, I

direct that the warrant of arrest so issued be stayed till 31st August, 2023 within which time if the concerned accused appears before the learned trial court, the learned trial court will allow her to continue on the same bail and bond. So far as the merits of the case is concerned, the petitioner would be at liberty to canvass all the points present in the revisional application at the appropriate stage of the trial. The learned court would consider the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2267 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
