The petitioner seeks to take benefit of the age relaxation limit by reason of being an OBC candidate but as fairly submitted by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the OBC certificate was not produced at the time of application to the Board. Although the petitioner obtained the OBC certificate in 2016, the petitioner did not rely on it at the time of application to the Board in 2020. This Court hence cannot fault the Board in the impugned decision dated 25th March, 2021 rejecting the candidature of the petitioner on the ground of the petitioner beyond the age limit. There is also no document to show the petitioner apprised of the Board of the existence of OBC certificate at any point of time thereafter.

In view of the above, WPA 15549 of 2021 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
