Affidavit-of-service filed in court today be kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been running from pillar to post with her allegation regarding medical negligence against a particular medical practitioner and sought relevant information regarding the degree of the said doctor. 3.

However, having failed before all forums including the SPIO, the First Appellate Authority and the Second Appellate Authority, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

Upon query of court, learned counsel for the respondent authorities hands over a written instruction with a copy to learned counsel for the petitioner which contains the answer to the petitioner's query. It says that the concerned medical practitioner completed his MBBS degree (Calcutta University) in the year 1982 as per

available office record and did not ever receive any degree in Master of Surgery (MS) from the Medical College, Kolkata.

Since the petitioner's grievance is thus redressed, there is no further need of continuing with the writ petition.

Accordingly by keeping the above report on record, WPA 14645 of 2023 is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps with the information thus received.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
