The present revisional application was filed for transferring of Case No.C-481 of 1997 (T.R. No.109 of 1997) pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Sealdah to any other Learned Court out of the jurisdiction of the campus of Sealdah.

Records of the present revisional application reflect that till date the revisional application has not been admitted and is pending for almost 24 years.

Having regard to the subject-matter of the case which relates to the process being issued under Sections 500/504 of the Indian Penal Code and the passage of time which is lapsed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that the purpose for which the revisional application was preferred has become infructuous.

According, C.R.R. 2016 of 1998 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
