The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondents being son and grandson are continuously torturing for the property. To that effect, information has been furnished to the police authorities, but no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that series of cases are pending. Last of the case was instituted being Bidhannagar North Police Station Case No. 29 of 2025. Further an application under Section 175(3) of BNSS was filed and subsequently on 03.07.2025, Bidhannagar North

Police Station received a letter from the petitioner that he intends to withdraw his letter dated 28.03.2025 which was addressed to the police station.

Having considered that the nature of dispute is a continuous family feud, no interference is called for by this Court as the police authorities are already in seisin of the issue and series of criminal cases have been registered on behalf of the petitioner as also the private respondents. Only having regard to the fact that the petitioner happens to be an aged person, police authorities would ensure that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 14709 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
