The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he is being subjected to harassment by the police authorities as he claims that he has got nothing to do with the vehicle which is the subject-matter of Egra P.S. Case no. 797 of 2024 dated 04.12.2024 as also the notice issued in respect of the proceedings under Section 133 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

In view of the substance of the accusations and the grievance, learned advocate for the State is directed to hand over a copy of the report, which has been prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge, Egra Police Station, so far as the substance of the notice which has been issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Karaya Police Station is concerned.

Having regard to the nature of the contentions in the writ petition, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Petitioner would take steps in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 14761 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
