The Sub-Divisional Officer, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas has filed income certificate dated 25.09.2024.

The certificate indicates that the petitioner is unemployed and therefore has no income. 2.

In that view of the matter, the respondent no. 3/the Commanding Officer Engineering Stores Department, Kakinara shall take further steps in the matter and release pension in favour of the petitioner's sister as expeditiously as possibly preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas and the Sub-Divisional Officer, Barrackpore, North 24

Parganas are warned against inaction in respect of order of this Court in future.

It is, however, submitted by Mr. Sengupta, learned counsel for the alleged contemnors that an application for issuance of income certificate was only made on 25th September, 2024.

This is denied by the learned advocate for the petitioner.

The District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas and the Sub-Divisional Officer, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas are virtually present before this Court. 7.

This Court has indicated to the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas that several earlier applications have been made for issuance of income certificate by the petitioner to the office of the S.D.O. 8.

The contempt application is disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

Personal presence of the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas and the Sub Divisional Officer, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas is dispensed with. 10.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
