1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court is taken on record.

2. The petitioner leased out his property to the Punjab National Bank. The lease has been terminated. The bank has surrendered the lease property. The petitioner prays for damages.

3. I am of the opinion that the grievance between the lessor and the lessee cannot be adjudicated by the writ Court. The dispute between the parties is absolutely of a civil nature with no public element involved. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

4. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the competent forum for remedy in accordance with law, if so advised.

5. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
