1. Let the affidavit of service filed in court today be kept with the record.

2. In this public interest litigation the petitioner is opposing the shifting of branch by the Punjab National Bank.

3. Firstly, such a decision taken by the respondent bank to shift its branch, cannot be interfered with in a public interest litigation.

4. Secondly, we take note of the submission of the learned advocate for the respondent-bank that on account of the present building being in dilapidated condition without any generator and other facilities following the Reserve Bank of India norms, the branch has been shifted within a distance of 150 meters from the existing building.

5. Thus, we find no ground to interfere with the decision and the writ petition is dismissed.
