This is a situation where the order of this Court could not be complied with by the alleged contemnors on account of loss of documents, namely, the order passed by the hearing officer. As the order passed by the hearing officer was not available in the records of the Corporation, a copy thereof could not be supplied to the petitioner for further steps to be taken as directed by this Court in WPA 1796 of 2022. Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate for the alleged contemnors submits on specific instructions from his clients that the contemnors are willing to purge the contempt by giving a further opportunity to the petitioner to appear before

the hearing officer afresh and assures that de novo hearing shall be given to the petitioner and a fresh order shall be passed on the issue of assessment of tax of the disputed premises.

In view of such submission made by Mr. Mukherjee, the contempt application is disposed of. The contempt proceeding is dropped.
