The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities for a considerable period of time regarding the egress and ingress to the residential house, the police authorities refrained from taking any step against the private respondents who are creating obstruction. Petitioners to that effect had been to the police station and petitioners' main grievance is that in spite of taking steps, police authorities have asked for compromising.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the police authorities have conducted enquiry in respect of the representation made on 29.05.2025.

A prayer has been advanced before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tamluk for

initiating prosecution against the private respondents.

The police authorities have taken some steps and were not sitting tight over the issue which has been complained by the petitioners.

Having considered the steps so taken, I direct that the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tamluk would pass necessary directions upon the prayers which have been advanced by the police authorities.

Report also reflects that some steps have been taken by way of keeping sharp vigil to avoid any untoward incident.

Police authorities would continue the same surveillance and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place at the locale.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 14634 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
