And In Re : Jafirul Mallick ..... petitioner Ms. Sanada Bhattacharyya ... for the petitioner Mr. Debabrata Chatterjee, learned APP Mr. Santanu Chatterjee ... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that his client is in custody for over 374 days. Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner suppressed his marital status and cohabited with the minor. Prayer for bail was rejected earlier.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the minor victim and other materials on record show that the petitioner had suppressed his marital status and cohabited with the minor.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating facts and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
