Ms. Faria Hossain Ms. Sonali Das ...... for the State We have considered the materials on record. There are prima facie materials connecting the petitioner with the murder of his wife. Dying declaration of the deceased implicates the petitioner who is the husband of the victim. His prayer for bail was rejected earlier. Thereafter, the case has been committed to the court of sessions. Hence, we are unwilling to consider the prayer for bail on merits.

We direct the trial court to proceed with the trial with utmost expedition and conclude the same at an early date. The application for bail is thus rejected.
