Pursuant to the earlier directions passed on 21.04.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.208 Rakib 04.07.2024 for submission of a progress report, State has come up with the report dated 10.04.2025 which reflects that Chanditala Police Station case no. 416/2024 has ended in a charge-sheet. The charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 341/ 323/ 324/ 325/ 379/ 354B/ 504/ 506/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code adding Sections 307/ 326/ 509/ 354 of the Indian Penal Code against Sk Amar, Sk Rahul, Sk Saddam Ali, Rigiya Begum @ Rijia Begum, Sk. Ali Akbar. On 25.11.2024 the said case has been transferred to the learned ACJM, Serampore Court for commitment. Next date has been fixed by the learned ACJM on 04.06.2025.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the investigation which has been submitted in the form of a charge-sheet, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Court in seisin of the case for

ventilating his grievance under the relevant provisions of BNSS.

Further pendency of the writ petition according to the steps which have been taken is unwarranted. Accordingly, WPA 15664 of 2024 along with CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
