The writ petitioner is not represented on the second day today.

It appears from the writ petition that inaction of Salboni Police Station is complained of in respect of Police Station Case No. 234 of 2021 dated 12th September, 2021.

Counsel for the State produces instructions of the S.I., Salboni Police Station dated 6th January, 2022. It appears from the said instructions that Somnath Shau, the principal accused and one Bidu Karmakar have been arrested and are in custody. The police have applied for warrant against the other accused, namely, Gouri Karmakar, Archana Karmakar, Soma Pramanick, Piku Karmakar and Lalu Karmakar.

It is expected that immediate and urgent steps are taken for apprehending the other accused persons and the learned Magistrate be approached, if necessary, for proclamation and attachment to enforce the attendance of the said persons.

Charge-sheet has since been submitted by Salboni Police Station being Case No. 297 of 2021 dated 31st December, under Sections 498A/307/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The instant writ petition shall stand disposed of. The instructions of the S.I., Salboni Police Station, as referred to hereinabove, are also kept with the record.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
