The petitioners were earlier granted bail by a Coordinate Bench. They, however, failed to comply with the conditions. Accordingly, Warrant of Arrest was issued. They challenged such Warrant of Arrest by way of a Criminal Revisional Application before a learned Judge of this Court. That application was disposed of by directing the petitioners to surrender before the learned Trial Court.

We are told that subsequently another Criminal Revisional Application being CRR 4894 of 2023 was filed praying for extension of time to surrender before the learned Trial Court. That application was dismissed by an order dated 18.4.2024. The petitioners say that they failed to comply with the direction to surrender but such failure was completely Signed By :

unintentional. They should be granted one more chance. The principal accused has died.

We are very unhappy with the conduct of the petitioners. They jumped the conditions of bail. We cannot trust them. If we again enlarge them on bail, there is every chance of abscondance of these petitioners. Therefore, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

The prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected. CRM (DB) 1912 of 2024 is dismissed.
