Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that information was furnished repeatedly before Beniapukur Police Station and the last of such representation was on or about April, 2025. The petitioner complains of having been cheated of a sum of Rs.14,00,000/-.

State has submitted a report which reflects that a case has been initiated under the relevant provisions of Negotiable Instruments Act which is pending before the learned CMM, Calcutta (CNS/359/2022 and CNS/360/2022).

Having regard to the fact that there is a private and personal dispute involved where there is a possibility of the petitioner being deprived of his rightful dues, I grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with prayers in case there has been a deception.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 14635 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
