In course of hearing of the appeal, a settlement has been arrived at between the parties and the West Bengal College Service Commission had issued a letter of recommendation in favour of the writ petitioner/respondent no.1. Pursuant to such recommendation, the respondent no.1 has already joined the post to which he had been recommended. Letter of appointment, as produced, be kept on record.

In view thereof, no further order is required to be passed in the present appeal and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the appeal and the order of the learned single Judge, impugned in the present appeal shall not be treated as a precedent.
