The grievance of the petitioner is that he has not been paid his arrear monthly consolidated pay for the period of April 2022 to March 2023. A detailed notice demanding justice was served upon the Corporation in April, 2023 but the same is yet to be considered and disposed of.

Without entering into the claim of the petitioner regarding his entitlement to the pay, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Controller of Finance, respondent no. 4 herein to consider and dispose of the legal representation filed on behalf of the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event the petitioner is found entitled to the pay, the same shall be credited in favour of the petitioner immediately thereafter.

If the respondents reject the claim of the petitioner, then the reason for rejection shall be communicated to him.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the legal representation dated 5th April, 2023 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties or their advocates on record expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
