The present revisional application has been preferred by the in-laws in respect of a charge-sheet filed in connection with Naihati Police Station Case No.121 of 2018 dated 18.02.2018 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The police authorities on conclusion of investigation submitted charge-sheet on 26th January, 2019 before the jurisdictional court under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. In the same chargesheet, the police authorities have prayed for preferring a supplementary charge-sheet after completion on the issue of stridhan articles are over.

I have considered the allegations made in the letter of complaint as also the documents available in the case diary.

Having regard to the materials appearing against the present petitioners, I am not inclined to interfere at this juncture when the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are yet to be supplied to the accused persons before the learned trial court. As such, no interference is called for at this stage. The petitioner(s) would be at liberty to agitate the points canvassed in the revisional application at the stage of consideration of charge.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2136 of 2018 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
