As the issue involved is very short, we have heard out the appeal itself dispensing with all formalities. We find no reason to interfere with the impugned judgement and order for the simple reason that even if it is assumed that the representation dated 17th October, 2007 was sent by the appellant/petitioner and received by the respondent, no step was taken by her to vindicate the alleged rights. The writ was filed only in 2017. There is a long uncondonable delay.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.

No order as to costs.
