Mr. Basu, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a fresh report. Report reflects that earlier Raninagar P.S. Case No.627 of 2023 dated 15.11.2023 was registered for investigation on the basis of the petitioner's complaint. The police authorities on completion of investigation submitted final report as "Mistake of Facts" on or about 25.05.2025. It has been stated in the report that no concrete evidence could be gathered against the FIR named accused persons and, as such, the police authorities arrived at such conclusion.

Be that as it may, police authorities would notify regarding the outcome to the present petitioner for taking steps before the learned Magistrate under the relevant provisions, if the petitioner intends to prefer an application for further investigation. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15738 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
