The daughter of the petitioner appeared in the Madhyamik Examination for the year 2020 and successfully passed the said examination securing 680 out of total marks of 700. The petitioner is alleging that her daughter is entitled to extra number in History against multiple choice question nos. 1.10 and 1.16 as the option given in the first one was incorrect and answer of the student in respect of the second one was correct. Learned advocate for the petitioner to justify the claim of the petitioner relies on a book published by "Chhaya Prakashani". On perusal of the relevant portion of the said book it appears that so far as it relates to question no. 1.10 there is apparent printing mistake in the said book and the answer in respect of the question no. 1.16 even according to the said book was wrong.

That apart the petitioner has other allegations in respect of subject Geography but the allegations are not sustainable inasmuch as the manner of investigation the petitioner is suggesting to substantiate his said allegations is not warranted in a proceeding under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

W.P.A No.15676 of 2022 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
