Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the case being CNS-13755 of 2017 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta, the matter may be disposed of even without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced if the matter is disposed of by the learned trial Court expeditiously in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the revisional application, being CRR 2403 of 2024 is disposed of directing the Metropolitan Magistrate, 3rd Court, Calcutta to dispose of the proceeding being CNS-13755 of 2017 pending before him within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
