Mr. Lalratan Mondal Ms. Puja Mondal ...for the respondent no.7 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of M/L. No.151 Rakib the information furnished to Officer-in-Charge of Khanakul Police Station on or about 08.06.2024 no steps have been being taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Khanakul Police Station case no.294/2024 dated 19.06.2024 has been registered for investigation. The report also reflects regarding a long standing land dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. To that effect Title Suit no. 32/21 was pending before the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division), 1st Court, Arambagh, Hooghly.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that another title suit has been filed. Considering that the police authorities have already taken steps pursuant to the information filed by the petitioner, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 15757 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
