1. By way of this Public Interest Litigation the petitioner seeks to question the Municipal election which was conducted in respect of the elected candidates viz. 6th and 7th respondents on the allegation that they have not disclosed the pendency of several criminal cases against them.

2. We have seen array of the official respondents and we find that none of the official respondents can take any step for redressal of the alleged grievances of the writ petitioner at this juncture. Moreover, by way of this Public Interest Litigation, an election cannot be called in question, more particularly, at this distance of time.

3. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands dismissed.
