The grievance of the petitioner arises in respect of certain representation being submitted and copies of General Diary Entry being incorrectly recorded.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. The report reflects that the officer-in-charge of Gosaba P.S.

conducted an enquiry and found that the accusations against the ASI could not be substantiated.

Be that as it may, the concerned police personnel against whom the accusations have been made was working in discharge of his official duties. As such, appropriate sanction was required to be obtained by the petitioner for prosecuting the concerned officer against whom complaint has been lodged by the present petitioner.

That being not made, the present petition is not maintainable.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15777 of 2024 is Dismissed.

Report so submitted today be kept with the record.

Affidavit of service so filed be also kept with the record.
