Ray ..for the respdt.6 According to the police authorities, on the complaint of the petitioner, Sankrail Police Station Case No. 112 of 2022 dated January 23, 2022 under Sections 341/323/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, has been started. The investigation is under progress.

This Court is of the view that the investigation must be prompt, impartial and effective. The incidents which had occurred should not occur in future. The police authorities must keep a strict vigil in an around the place of occurrence. The regular business of the petitioner should not be hampered in any way. An application for deployment of police at the time of loading high speed diesel from the terminal of the Indian Oil Corporation at Mourigram, shall be filed before the concerned Superintendent of Police. The concerned Superintendent of Police, upon assessing the ground reality and the situation prevailing, shall

pass necessary order. In case police protection is allowed, the petitioner shall bear the costs. Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of.

The police report is taken on record.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
