Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 1 month and 11 days and in spite of direction earlier passed by this Court, prosecution has failed to conclude the trial, as such, the petitioner may be released on bail on any stringent conditions. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that prosecution intends to examine five witnesses in the present case, out of which four witnesses have already been examined and the investigating officer is to be examined. The next date is fixed on 21.11.2025.

Learned special court would ensure that the evidence of the investigating officer is concluded by 15th December, 2025. Efforts be taken so that after examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the whole of the process and the

verdict of the case be pronounced by 28th February, 2026. Accordingly, at this stage, CRM (NDPS) 817 of 2025 is dismissed.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
