Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 272 days. It is submitted that there was a love affair between the parties and victim had consumed poison on her own.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including the oral dying declaration of the victim wherein it is stated that the petitioner had administered poison to her.

In view of the aforesaid fact and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is thus rejected.
