1. Contempt Rule was issued on the basis of a reference made by the trial Court under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
2. During the pendency of the contempt petition, alleged contemnors took steps to comply with the order violation of which was complained of.
3. Alleged contemnors in two tranches filed application before the trial Court seeking mercy.
4. Alleged contemnor nos.5 and 6 applied before the trial Court for mercy and the same was granted.
5. So far as alleged contemnor no.3 is concerned, Court is informed that her application was accepted by the jurisdictional Court on September 10, 2024.

contemnor no.3 submits that, in addition to the application seeking mercy before the trial Court, alleged contemnor no.3 ensured that, a girl child was admitted to a school and that, all educational expenses for such girl child was paid by the alleged contemnor no.3. He submits that, such steps were taken pursuant to the observations made by the Court in course of hearing of the contempt petition.
7. Since the order violation of which was complained of, was implemented and since the trial Court accepted the apology of the alleged contemnors before us and since the alleged contemnors tendered unconditional apology before us and all the alleged contemnors took steps in terms of the observations made by the Court from time to time, we are of the view that, no fruitful purpose would be sub-served by continuing with the contempt Rule.
8. CRC 10 of 2023 is, therefore, discharged.
9. Personal appearance of all the alleged contemnors are dispensed with.
