Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of G.R. case no. 2450 of 2019 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Howrah, the application may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced if the matter is directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

The case was registered in 2019 and the charge sheet was submitted in the same year.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the revisional application, being CRR 2423 of 2024 is disposed of directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Howrah to dispose of the proceeding being G.R. case no. 2450 of 2019 pending before him as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
