Petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer for rendering police assistance in respect of the construction work done at their behest. Petitioner claims that the private respondents are interfering.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. The report reflects that in the property referred therein, number of families are staying. Further pursuant to the writ petition having been filed, title suit has been preferred which is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) 1st Court.

The dispute and difference are in respect of the particular plot of land. Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 6 to 13 submits that petitioner himself is not the owner and is attempting to evict the others.

Be that as it may, so far as the issue relating to the construction is concerned, if there is any dispute, the petitioner will approach the jurisdictional Civil Court.

However, having considered that number of people are involved over the issue of land dispute, I direct the police authority that they would continue keeping their vigil in the area concerned and ensure that no breach of peace takes place in respect of the subject property referred in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 14801 of 2023 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
