Pursuant to the order dated 2nd September, 2022, the alleged contemnor, Mr. Rabindranath Chatterjee, is present in Court. His personal appearance is dispensed with.

It is submitted that the alleged contemnor is no longer connected with the Municipality and he was the past Chairman. It is further submitted that SubDivisional Officer, Purba Bardhaman is looking into the matter as regards the obstructions of construction of the boundary wall of the petitioner.

Mr. Samir Kumar Saha, the current Chairman of Katwa Municipality shall look into the grievance of the petitioner after he receives appropriate report from Sub-Divisional Officer, Purba Bardhaman.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant contempt application shall stand disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
