Soak Pits at Udaypur Bathan Near 1-Hanuman Mandir, 2Saraswati Mela, 3-Roy Para, 4-Club, and 5-Asharam More,= and successfully completed the said work, the Udaypur-Joynagar Gram Panchayat has not released the payment due for execution of the said work order. The total value of the work order was ₹88,232/-. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner refers to page 21 of the writ petition to indicate that the Panchayat itself has admitted the outstanding amount to be ₹62,371/- in respect of the said work. It is submitted that even the admitted amount has not yet been disbursed.

Learned counsel appearing for the Panchayat submits that the petitioner has already made a

representation before the Panchayat and assures that the same shall be duly considered.

Upon consideration of the submissions advanced, I am of the view that the Panchayat shall release at least the admitted dues of ₹62,371/- within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. The Panchayat shall thereafter afford the petitioner an opportunity of hearing in respect of the balance disputed amount, take a reasoned decision thereon within a further period of one month, and release if any remaining sum found payable.

Accordingly, WPA 14955 of 2025 stands disposed of.
