PP Ms. Sreeparna Das, Advocate ... ...For the State Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the averments made in the petition including the statements that the petitioner did not file any application for anticipatory bail before the jurisdictional court. She submits that there is an application for anticipatory bail pending before the jurisdictional court.

In view of such statement contained in the application, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It would be appropriate to impose costs upon the petitioners. They will pay aggregating to a sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees forty thousand only) to the West Bengal State Legal Services Authority prior to moving of their application for anticipatory bail before the jurisdictional court. CRM 6457 of 2021 is dismissed.
