Petitioner has preferred an application for expeditious disposal of Misc. Case No.234 of 2016 pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Serampore, Hooghly. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that for a considerable period of time, such an application is pending, as there is no Presiding Officer is available in the court at present. Records reflect that petitioner has approached this Court when the cross-examination of the OPW 1 was continuing. Having considered the plight of the petitioner, I am of the view that the same is an administrative issue. Accordingly, I direct that immediately after the regular Presiding Officer joins as Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Serampore, Hooghly, within two month thereof, the trial of the case must be concluded.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2312 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending application, if any, is also disposed of.
