The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the orders dated May 30, 2024 and June 6, 2024, passed in Case No. 12 of 2018 by the Judge, First Labour Court. It is alleged that the impugned orders were passed on an application filed by the private respondents without granting any opportunity to the petitioner.

Mr. Mainak Bose appears on behalf of the private respondent and fairly submits that in view of an earlier order passed by a Coordinate Bench dated November 30, 2023 directing expeditious disposal of the proceeding pending before the First Labour Court, the interim order is liable to be vacated and the matter remanded to the Learned First Labour Court for hearing afresh.

On behalf of the writ petitioner it is submitted that they have no objection if the impugned orders are set aside and the matter is remanded for hearing afresh on the application filed by the respondent.

In view of the above and by consent of the parties the petitioner is granted a week's time to file the Affidavit-in-opposition/Objection to the application filed by the private respondent on May 25, 2024. Affidavit-in-Reply be filed three days' thereafter.

The First Labour Court is requested to dispose of the above proceeding as expeditiously as possible, positively within three months from the date of communication of this order.

15829 of 2024 stands disposed of.
