It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about one year and eight months.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the evidence of the victim. Petitioner was a married man and cohabited with the minor victim. Trial is in progress. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is thus rejected.

Trial court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
