Mr. Pantu Deb Roy, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that during the pendency of the writ petition revised pension payment order under ROPA-2019 rules has been issued and in consequence the entire retiral benefits of the petitioner has been disbursed. The petitioner is the retired Headmaster of Nimta High School (HS), he has filed the instant writ petition complaining delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits.

The petitioner has also prayed interest on the arrear pension.

Mr. Deb Roy, further submits that the main relief as prayed for has already been granted to the

petitioner but to get the interest on the arrear pension he is to apply first before the appropriate authority.

Be that as it may, it is made clear that this order is not prevent the petitioner to take appropriate steps to get such interest.

The main grievance of the petitioner since has already been addressed, no further order need be passed in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition being W.P.A. 15815 of 2021 is, thus, disposed, consequently the connected application being I.A. No. CAN 1 of 2023, if pending, is also disposed of accordingly.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
