Petitioner claims that his possession is being disturbed at the behest of the private respondents and as such necessary directions be passed upon the police authorities to restore peace.

Learned advocate appearing for the state submits a report and contends that the petitioner has illegally occupied government vested property. In order to establish his claim the petitioner has approached this court.

I find from the report, already police authorities are keeping vigil and as such proceedings have been drawn up under sections 107 and 116 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. If there is any breach

of the peace, the police authorities will continue to put in their efforts for preventing the same as they had been doing it earlier.

So far as the issue relating to possession or ownership of the property is concerned, in case there are specific orders of court, police would act in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 15849 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
