Mr. Santanu Deb Roy ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 110 days. It is submitted that there is a matrimonial dispute and he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was accused of cruelty towards his wife. Subsequently, instant case was registered alleging he threw acid of his father-in-law. Statement of witnesses and medical evidence corroborates such accusation. In view of the aforesaid facts, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. ( Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J. ) ( Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
