Khan Mr. Asoke Das ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for one year. It is submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. On the leading statement of the petitioner Fake Indian Currency Notes valued at Rs. 15 lakhs was recovered. Charge has been framed and date for recording of prosecution evidence has been fixed. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
