1. The revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious hearing in Session Trial No.02(08)2024, (Session Case No.206 of 2024,) General Record No.20 of 2024 arising out of Ghola Police Station 01 of 2024 dated 01.01.2024 u/s 325/326/307/302/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Section 25(1-B)(a)/27(2)/35 of the Arms Act, 1959 pending before Learned Additional District & Session Judge, 2nd Court at Barrakpore.

2. It appears that the proceeding arises out of a case dated 01.01.2024. It is submitted by the Learned Counsel for the petitioner that the Division Bench had directed to

complete the Trial within 9 months vide an order dated 03.09.2024 passed in C.R.M.(DB) 2119 of 2024.

3. It is submitted that six witnesses have already been examined and a few witnesses are remaining to be examined. It appears that the offence alleged in the present case includes an offence under Section 302 of the I.P.C.

4. As the revision is being disposed of, Ms.Pushpita Saha an empanelled lawyer of the State of West Bengal being led by the Public Prosecutor are appointed to represent the State. Let their appointment be regularized by the appropriate authority.

5. Considering the time taken in such Trials, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the Learned Judge shall make all endeavour to complete the trial expeditiously preferably within a year from this date.

6. CRR 2881 of 2025 is disposed of.

7. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

9. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
