Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities particularly with regard to the steps taken in connection with Khanakul Police Station Case No. 156 of 2024 dated 06.04.2024. State has submitted a report which reflects that police authorities, on conclusion of investigation in connection with the said case, have submitted a final report as 'mistake of fact'. Having considered that the petitioner may be aggrieved by the outcome of the investigation, I am of the opinion that petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of law ventilating his grievance. if such an application is filed, learned Magistrate will assess and ascertain the genuinity of the accusations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper preferably within a period of sixty days from the date of filing of the application.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 15858 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
