Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.

Bhowmick, learned advocate representing the Santipur Municipality files an affidavit affirmed by the Executive Officer of the Santipur Municipality. From the said report it transpires that the Municipality has taken steps in accordance with the submissions made on behalf of the Municipality as recorded in the order dated 23rd March, 2023 and a notice inviting bid was issued on 6th April, 2023 for leasing out for ferry service between Santipur, Nadia and Guptipara, Hooghly by the side of Guptipara Ghat under Santipur Municipality.

It appears from the said affidavit that the bid opening date was 24th April, 2023.

Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed by floating the tender as stated in the affidavit filed by the Santipur Municipality no further order need be passed.

Mr. Galib, learned advocate representing the State files the instructions by the District Magistrate, Nadia in terms of the earlier order passed by this Court which is taken on record.

With the aforesaid obervations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
